The band competed at the 2019 Fife Charities Brass Band Competition that took part on the 28th September in the Adam Smith Theatre, Kirkcaldy.

Drawn 17th (of 20) the band played the following pieces:
- March: Imperial March, John Williams (arr Sandy Smith)
- Hymn: Saint Clemant (arr Darrol Barry)
- Test Piece: Vizcaya (arr Gilbert Vinter)
Although the result for the Test Piece was disappointing (score of 164, putting the band in 19th), results from the March (17th with 69 points) and Hymn (16th with 68 points) where much more positive and showed the work put into this display.
You can listen to the recording of the Tets Piece below.
The band will now work towards competing at the Borders Entertainment competition in early November.
