An errata has been issued for the 4th Section Testpiece as follows:-

CLARIFICATION POINTS FOR

"PRELUDE, SONG & DANCE" by JOHN GOLLAND

The Tempo marking for the Dance is correct at crotchet = c. 96.

(The instruction: "Allegro Giocoso e Vivace" is a style marking as in the original manuscript score).

Errata:

2nd Cornet: "Dance" Bar 5 notes sholud be on 1st & 2nd beats (as Cornets/ Flugle)
Solo Cornet (2): 5 bars before L: should be D flat semi-quavers
Solo Cornet (1): 6th bar of P: 7th semi-quaver should be A natural
Percussion 1: Bar before Q should be played on triangle
Solo Cornet (2): 7th bar of Q should be C natural not C sharp on 3rd semi-quaver
Percussion 1: Final chord should be a timpani roll

On the day

The bus leaves at 10 a.m. sharp for Perth, from MacTaggarts Car Park. Cars should be parked in the lower car park. If not travelling on bus please let Robin Henderson know.

A practice session has been arranged in St. Matthews Church, Tay Street, Perth for 11.30 a.m.
At the end of the practice we move to the Concert Hall for the 4th Section scheduled to commence around 2 o'clock.
