Take Junction 4 on M8 and follow exit signs for Whitburn A801, at T junction (Traffic Lights) take a left turn on to A705 towards Blackburn. Go through Blackburn and Seafield is next village you come to. You can park on the green, right hand side of road.

Mellerstain House, Kelso
There are two ways to get to Mellerstain using the A68 from Edinburgh
1. Take A697 from Carfraemill Roundabout to Pyatshaw. Then take A6089 towards Kelso. At the crossroads in the village of Gordon, go straitover A6089 towards Kelso. Approx 5 miles later Mellerstain House is signposted on a minor road right hand side. Follow minor road to Mellerstain House
2. Continue on A68 to Earlston. In the town tak a left turn on to A6105. Follow A6105 out of Earlston and then a Right onto B6397. Follow B6397 to Mellerstain Road End, B6397 veres Right towards Smailholm. Go straight here onto Minor road, Mellerstain House should be signposted. (3) Follow Minor road to Mellerstain House.
